Applying RustBullet to a Concrete Garage Floor - Garage 2 of 3

RustBullet makes a concrete floor "paint". The stuff seems to stick to anything and so far (6 months as of Feb 2017) it is holding up very well. I wanted something durable and easy to sweep for my workshop/garage. It was too large for me to do with epoxy (I can't move that fast), so I decided to give this stuff a try. I ended up doing three garages with this stuff (this is number two). I am so far happy with all three. The stuff is not cheap - $125 per gallon - but it's in the same ballpark as epoxy, and is MUCH easier to apply. I got the stuff from Justin at www.garageflooringllc.com. The company was helpful with answering my many questions. They sell complete "kits" with all the supplies you need to do the job. I'm frugal, so I got some of what I needed from Home Depot and Amazon. In retrospect, I probably saved a total of $50 (over the three projects), so I would probably just go for the kit if I had to do it again. If you want to get everything separately, I have put some links below. Note that you can finish this with flakes, and in a few different colors. I just went simple (to minimize my cost). RustBullet (I got 10 gallons for three garages): www.garageflooringllc.com Crack Repair: http://amzn.to/2mk84LD Respirator: http://amzn.to/2m9Nqys Filters for Respirator (don't cheap out - this stuff is solvent based, and the fumes are EXTREMELY strong): http://amzn.to/2mjuBrJ Extension Pole for Roller (lets you reach way back and smooth out roller marks): http://amzn.to/2m9QrPn Gloves (this stuff does NOT come off once it dries - my phone had silver marks on the sides that never did come off): http://amzn.to/2m9yznA Cheap small brushes to help with trim and catch drips from can: http://amzn.to/2mjEMN3 Mixing "thing" for 5 gallon paint (much cheaper than HD, because it's an "add on"): http://amzn.to/2lJUunZ Painter's tape (this is a 2 pack of 2" painters tape - may be able to get by with just masking tape, but I prefer this and I had it):http://amzn.to/2kJkUGS Commercial Pedestal 30" Shop Fan (cheaper than Harbor Freight, and it's on Prime): http://amzn.to/2lDVOs3 Cleaner/Degreaser (cheaper on Amazon, because it's an "add on"): http://amzn.to/2l5zW5Y Power Washer (in case you don't have one, and have nowhere to get it or borrow it from). This link is for a Generac. I have a Simpson (which I would not recommend). You need over 3000 psi in order to effectively run the floor cleaner, which I now use every summer on every flat surface: http://amzn.to/2l5AQiS Floor Cleaner for Pressure Washer (I use this thing for driveway, paitio, etc. VERY nice): Amazon wil not let me create a link for it, so search on there for "EZ Clean AEZ31023 Surface Cleaner for Quick Connect Pressure Washer Wands, 15-Inch". It will run with less than 3,000psi, but it does an amazing job with the 3100 PSI Home Depot: Wooster Roller arm (the other one is cheaper, but flexes..no good) Wooster 3/8 nap premium rollers 1 gallon acetone (get the gallon - if you don't use it on this project, you'll use it elsewhere) 1 Gallon muriatic acid (you can it with water, then sprinkle it on, then wait then wash off to etch concrete. Paper towels and rags (if you don't already have) Harbor Freight: 10x17 Portable garage ($199 before sale or coupon): http://www.harborfreight.com/10-ft-x-...
