Welcome to the start of Fishing Planet's annual Halloween Event: The Curse of the Frankenfish! The goal of this event is to take part in about a dozen special Halloween-related Missions to capture various types of fish "Monsters" from various fisheries. Once the missions are completed, you head to Quanchkin Lake, Louisiana to locate the Witch's Book of Recipes that will allow you to ability to summon the dreaded Frankenfish, a fish that is the stuff of fear and legend! Other notable changes have occurred within the world of Fishing Planet: Pumpkin Gifts - Once a day you can go to various pumpkins to collect such as tackle, bait and more! Halloween-themed fish species such as Albino Ghost Pikes, Mutant Gars, and Bluegill skeltons. ** This Event is also covered in The Fisherman! ** In this episode, I am headed to Lone Star Lake for the first of the Monster Fish Missions. This involves collecting backlash from the lake to make a line that is thin and murky enough that it can't be seen by the sharp-eyed Monster Mad-Eye Buffalo!
