Hello everyone. This is an exploration of the damaged northern side of the Kinzua bridge. We start at the Wye and then proceed through the rock cut and then onto the bridge approach. I've been trying to nail down who built the right of way, and I'm having a hard time. I believe it was part of the New York, Lake Erie, and Western. Later becoming the Erie railrod. There is also mention of the B&O. The Knox and Kane didn't start until 1982. I thought they were the owners the whole time. Railroads can be so confusing sometimes. There is tons of information available which makes things confusing for me. I will post some pictures of the Wye in the community page along with the 1927 date stamp in the concrete on the south abutment. That date is also a mystery for I can find no reference to 1927 anywhere. Mystery? Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching. 6/19/23
