Clan Macpherson Museum Talk: Dr Jim and Dr Mairi MacPherson, in conversation with Bruce JS Macpherson: 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' This month’s Talks from the Museum takes the form of a guided tour through the Museum led by the Museum's Exhibitions Committee, Mairi and Jim MacPherson. For those familiar with the collection, the tour will give you a taste for the massive changes the collection has undergone during lockdown and the extraordinary contribution Mairi and Jim have made in re-telling and presenting our story. The tour will introduce newcomers to some of our best-known and loved treasures and will hopefully tempt you to come and visit the Museum in person. The tour will take place via a specially-recorded video - this event will be your first chance to see it. Following the film is a Q&A session where you can ask questions about the new exhibition and find out more about how it came to be. The Q&A session is hosted by Bruce JS Macpherson. Drs Jim and Mairi MacPherson are academics and members of the Clan Macpherson Museum Advisory Board, where they are currently the Exhibitions Committee. They designed the new permanent exhibition at the Museum. Bruce JS Macpherson is a Trustee of the Clan Macpherson Museum.
