Tips for installing door speakers on 73-79 F150's

I was having a very difficult time getting new speaker wire installed through the rubber grommet on the truck. Here is how I did it . Hopefully it will save you a little time and give you an idea of what you'll need. Installing new door speakers really isn't that difficult and just takes about an hour to do. You just need a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the door handle and then a large flat-head or something similar to wedge between the door and door panel to pop the connectors out. Then I just needed a small drill bit to drill new holes for the new Pioneer speakers. Depending on what speakers you buy, you may not need to drill new holes.
