I was curious enough to try it out and make a video demonstrating a few ideas of what can be done with a mount like this. Besides the monopod legs, it includes a standard rubber bottom piece and a metal spike so you can use this as a normal monopod if you want. The top screw mount can be reversed so you are able to use it with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 cameras and heads. The monopod can reach around 5'8" (167cm) when the four sections are fully extended. The legs can be loosened or locked down by twisting the related blue aluminum and rubber knob. Overall pretty nice! Just don't expect to put a huge amount of weight on this.
