TME staffer Lindsay Straw plays a Santa Cruz OM European Spruce Custom at The Music Emporium in Lexington, MA. There's nothing not to like about this custom Santa Cruz OM. Their standard Indian rosewood back and sides have been paired with an upgraded European spruce top. Effortlessly responsive, each note blooms and sustains so beautifully, you'll be hard-pressed to put it down once you start to play. Fingerstyle arrangements ring out with ease, but this guitar also has what's needed to support a heavy flatpick attack, too. Final flourishes include an abalone rosette and 42-style fingerboard inlays (icing on the cake, really). Audio recorded with our Ear Trumpet Edwina mic, straight into our Sony camcorder.
