QRP Labs QDX Digital Transceiver in Operation

Author, Photographer, Music Critic, and the Chief Radio Operator at the ham radio station WA2ASQ, returns in another God Bless the Keg Publishing LLC ham radio video. This time, Mr. Paul John Hausleben details his latest QRP radio adventure and operation with a brand-new QDX Digital Transceiver. In the video, Paul details his latest experiences in the apartment radio shack with a new rig and with his “antenna farm system” consisting of a rain gutter and downspout and an indoor dipole strung on the second floor of the unit at the PJH Writing Command Center QTH. Paul details some recent updates to his antenna system, how he connected the new QDX to his desktop computer, some of the settings for hooking up and configuring the rig, and his overall experiences so far with a very minimalist QRP radio and setting. This video is an inspiration to all QRP operators and those radio amateurs who cannot erect large antennas or even outside antennas and still get on the air and have fun and enjoy this amazing hobby!
