Vintage TV Commercials 1950s thru 1970s - 30 minutes

30 minutes of Vintage TV Commercials - 1950s thru 1970s. One is certainly from 1954 (Hotpoint commercial). A wide variety of products covered, many now defunct. This collection was discovered on a homemade DVD (not commercial product) that was inherited from a deceased relative. The exact origin is unknown, but I believe that they were filmed as they were broadcasted ("on air") by use of a Kinescope focused on a CRT tube type television screen, probably in the mid 1970s, possibly done at a local TV station by their technicians. One can easily see the film frame registration lines (where you can see a sliver of a film frame above the main frame image) and dust on the edges of the Kinescope box's 'viewfinder' frame. Includes various stars, like Peter Lorre for Spiedel watch bands, Peter Fonda and Loretta Switt in a trailer for film "Race With The Devil", Shirley Jones and David Cassidy in "Patridge Family" promos, etcetera.
