North River Lake in Algonquin Park is a place I had never visited. The weather was forecast to be beautiful, and most of my favourite places to backcountry camp were booked. Then, I saw North River Lake on the Algonquin Park map and noticed availability. Years ago, on a trip to Cedar Lake, I stopped to take a peek at the access and was dissuaded from checking it out further. Now, I was up for the challenge Come visit North River and North River Lake with me. I peruse a bunch of campsites, spot a strange animal, eat some delicious food, and enjoy lots of beautiful scenery.
