This is our second day in Dali, China. Today’s plan is to charter a car to travel around the Erhai Lake. Our first stop is Xizhou. Xizhou is a settlement of the Bai people. The ancient town of Zhou is surrounded by Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east. It is the movie The hometown of "Five Golden Flowers". It is a famous historical and cultural town of the Bai ethnic group with a history of thousands of years, and has a strong ethnic customs and historical and cultural atmosphere. Bai folk houses are a major feature of Xizhou. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, people often visited the Yan and Yang families. Xizhou Posu Baba is a famous snack in Xizhou. It has a good color and fragrance, so you might as well try it. You can enjoy the sea of rapeseed flowers in spring, and the rice farmland scenery in autumn. It was early winter when we came, and Xizhou was still beautiful and charming. On the second stop of our tour around the Erhai Lake, we arrived at the Dali Wetland Park, a wetland ecological park invested and built by the Erhai Lake. The scenery is beautiful! Our last stop was the ancient city of Dali. It was drizzling when we arrived. The ancient city of Dali in China is located in the west of Yunnan Province. The ancient city is also called the Purple City. The history of the ancient city can be traced back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, when Nanzhao Wangge Luofeng built Yangjume City as its new capital. The ancient city was built in the 15th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1382). During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the ancient city was the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan. There are 14 key cultural relics protected at or above the municipal level distributed in the ancient city. The unit carries Dali's history, culture, religious culture, and ethnic culture.
