I've been having a blast watching my girl play Persona 5 and I've been itching to do another cover from this amazing soundtrack! Blooming Villain specifically was one of the handful of P5 tracks that you guys were requesting in the comments on my Will Power cover and I knew this one had to be next! There are definitely quite a few more P5 jams I'd like to do as well though so I'll leave it up to you guys in the comments to help me choose what's next! This arrangement came together super easily and it was a ton of fun to put together. It's all about being super crushing and slaying those pentatonic Pantera-style riffs! The chorus however gets really interesting as it gets a bit more Japanese style with the minor 6th, 7th, 5th, 1 progression that is a ton of fun to play leads over. I couldn't resist soloing over it later in the track because it's just that awesome to play with! One final thing that was also so fun was busting out some bass guitar and cranking the volume and tone for the bass break mid-song. I'm super proud on how it turned out and It's such a cool rarity to have bass guitar be a focal point in these metal arrangements.
