Midwest Railfanning Trip: Ogden Dunes, IN + Blue Island, IL (8-31-24)

Hello everyone! To start off the Midwest Railfanning Trip, we would go to Ogden Dunes, Indiana to railfan the NS Chicago Line! We would get Amtrak 301 (Day 1: 50th Anniversary HU) leading the Capitol Limited! We would then move to Blue Island, Illinois to railfan and it was very chaotic. The crossing gates had their bells stolen (thanks a lot idiot) and that would cause the gates to malfunction and gave us a hard time trying to railfan the area.
