Here is a video on how to change the transmission fluid on a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. Now this is one change of probably 2 you should do to complete change out the fluid as you only remove about 4 of the about 7 quarts in the transmission. Now more specifically, this transmission has a flare in RPM on the 2-3 shift, which isn't cool. Hopefully it was brought on by dirty fluid and this will resolve the issue. On the first fluid change I added Lucas Transmission additive thinking I had slipping clutches, but later research said I might be having valve body issues and that cleaning it would be the best move, so in this fluid change, we add a serving of Seafoam Trans Tune to the mix to hopefully free things up. So far, knock on wood, so good with the seafoam. Should work on all 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 and up Chevy Equinox and Pontiac Torrent
