Glacier Point || Hiking Four Mile Trail In Yosemite National Park

One shot that I've been wanting to get in Yosemite National Park is from Glacier Point, a 7,200 elevation viewpoint overlooking the Yosemite Valley on the East end. BUT, in 2022 the only road to get there, Tioga Road, is closed for the season due to construction... Perfect timing on my part. But not all is lost! There is a second way to get there on foot by way of the Four Mile Trail hike, a 3,600 elevation gain 4.8 miles one way trail! My dream shot from Glacier Point is photographing Half Dome as the sun sets and illuminates the upper half of the peak. In this video we travel up the trail for a sunset hike, documenting it along the way to share what it's actually like taking the "strenuous" rated route to the top of Glacier Point. Was it worth it?
