Practice oil pastel blending & layering techniques in this "Draw with Me" video, DUNE edition! This movie scene art study focuses on soft oil pastels, portrait drawing, and experimenting with linseed oil and brushes for blending (and some colored pencils for detail blending). I'm using the Mungyo gallery soft oil pastels, with the basic 72 color set from my review and extra shades that can be found in their 120 color box, mixing them for a limited color palette painting. Denis Villeneuve (and his cinematographer) uses very deliberate color palettes and I tried to tackle the contrast of saturated costuming and muted environment in this DUNE Part One movie scene study with Lady Jessica and Paul Atreides here.
