C of E - The Big Church Split Coming Soon ?

Arch Bishop's Welby and Cottrell kill off the traditional C of E in an epoch making decision to bless same sex marriages in a church setting. 500 years of orthodoxy goes out of the window. This momentous decision was taken on a Synodical vote and notably most Bishops voted to implement these blessings on Monday 8 July 2024. A few Godly Bishop's are now isolated and unable to resist Welby and Cottrell's desire to take the C of E into unbiblical territory. This was truly a ''Rubicon'' moment and 500 years of the Church of England's history came to a crashing end ! It is more than likely that some sort of a major split will occur, although this is not yet formally planned/agreed. Time will tell, in this case. I suspect it is only a matter of time before the CEEC and the amalgamation of other orthodox groupings known as the ''Alliance'' (HTB, New Wine etc.) may well set up a ''Parallel Province'' for orthodox and evangelical Anglicans in England. A catastrophic yet interesting challenging time of opportunities too. Orthodox, traditional and Evangelical believers are being pushed towards a time of ultimate decision making now. Update to this video - There is in summer 2024 much talk of a ''Parallel Province''. The CEEC preferred option. This seems the most discussed, probable but difficult route for Godly Anglicans right now. More news will appear over the latter part of 2024 (into 2025) and Welby's adventure will, it seems likely , cause the biggest church rupture/split since the thunderous divorce from Rome in Henry VIII 's reign. PS The Bishop's are now (July 2024) actively considering if they can officially change church Canon Law, alter it, to allow co-habiting same sex clergy to live together. This has been happening in practice for some years now, but never officially sanctioned by the C of E. More to follow.
