Emax Nanohawk 65mm Brushless 1S FPV Racer Drone Fright Test Review

This very lightweight micro whoop FPV racer drone provides pretty impressive performance with only a 1S battery. It's very resistant to crashes. I banged it up pretty good in preparation for this review with no apparent effect. It should be a great indoor flier to keep you busy through the upcoming winter nights. Find it here and try 10% coupon BGNH10 https://bit.ly/Nanohawk . And here's more from Emax https://emaxmodel.com/?ref=lUpgfDdwQcw8j Pros 65mm tiny whoop. Flexible plastic blade protectors and carbon fiber frame makes this a tough crash resistant drone. I've smacked it high speed into that back wall numerous times in practice flights for this review. It still looks and runs good as new. Very lightweight at only 20 grams. 40 channel 25mW video transmitter with OSD and Smartaudio capability. F4 flight control board loaded with Betaflight 4.2.0. Runcam Nano 3 camera with very good WDR performance. Brushless 0802 19000KV motors. 5A continuous BLHeli_S ESC. Comes with one 3.8V LiHV battery with GNB27 battery plug. This low resistance plug eliminates battery voltage drop which is a significant problem with other connectors (such as PH2.0). Drone can also use similar ET2.0 plug 1S batteries. Also comes with 6 port 1S USB LiPo battery charger. Cons GNB27 and (ET2.0) plugs are somewhat difficult to insert and unplug from the battery receptical. Take care when inserting so that you do not force and bend the receptacle pins. Does not have 2S capability, limiting its use to indoor flights (or outdoors on windless days). It's advertised as a beginner's drone. However, it does not come with necessary equipment to get it into the air (such as transmitter and FPV goggles). It also requires some flight skills and knowledge of transmitter/receiver binding and Betaflight configuration. I'm speculating that its crash resistance may be the reason why it's advertised as such. Affiliate links: At no cost to you, I do receive a small commission for sales resulting from these links.
