How I Stay Thin After 45! Tips to Staying Slim and Maintaining Weight

These are 9 things I do to stay slim and maintain my weight as I age (I am 47 years old). Tip #1 do not eat anything 3-4 hours before bed. #2 eat only when hungry and stop when comfortably full not stuffed #3 use a slightly smaller plate and smaller portions #4 try to eat healthy but if I'm craving something I have a small portion of it #5 cut down or eliminate alcohol (alcohol has more calories than you might think) #6 drink eight, 8 oz glasses of water a day (helps to burn fat, suppress appetite and ice water can speed up metabolism) #7 try to get at least 7 hours sleep a night (studies show people who get less tend to weigh more) #8 choose reduced fat products #9 have thyroid, hormone and vitamin levels checked by the doctor (if levels are off it can lead to weight gain).
