Like many who live in the midwest, years of exposure to road salt have taken its toll on my truck. I have done my best to clean it as often as possible in the winter month but it catches up eventually. I went to several body shops and most did not want to do rust repair. The quote I did receive was $3,000 which is too much for me to spend in this truck. Maybe it isn't too much for some but I am also not rolling around on $1400 a rim wheels and tires. I decided to purchase plastic slip on covers from Bushwacker. The company has been manufacturing aftermarket parts for years so I felt the would be a good choice. This install is on an 06 Sierra crew cab however, I believe the install will be the same for any of the like products.
