Wilton 12" C-Clamp Restoration, Refurbished & Improved!

I got this 12" Wilton C-clamp at an estate auction along with a few other clamps or just a few dollars. This clamp has a clamping force of 8000 lbs and opens to 12". I decided to refurbish it and modify it a bit too. After grinding the forge seam and polishing it up some I blued it with cold gun bluing then sprayed it with some durable clear coat to protect it from rust. I also made a new swivel button and "T" handle with a tension nut to keep the handle from moving or vibrating when in use. This comes in especially useful when using the clamp on a mill because its important to keep the handle out of the way and to reduce noisy vibration. I enjoyed this project, watch out for this clamp in future projects, I'm sure it'll show up soon enough!
