Top 10 Tallest Buildings in Uganda 1. The Pearl of Africa Hotel, Kampala It's located on top of Nakasero Hill. It was constructed between 2006 and 2017. The hotel has a total of 24 floors. It features a 740-square-meter (7,965-square-foot) ballroom, nine meeting rooms, two boardrooms, and a business center. 2. Uganda Revenue Authority Tower  It was constructed between 2015 and 2019. It houses the government agency responsible for collecting public taxes. It has a total of 22 floors, which accommodate a maximum of 1,700 employees, and parking for 1,070 automobiles, 360 of them underground. 3. Worker's House Its construction was completed in 2001. It has 20 floors. The building house The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a quasi-government agency responsible for the collection, safekeeping, responsible investment, and distribution of retirement funds from employees of the private sector in Uganda who are not covered by the Government Retirement Scheme. 4. Crested Towers: Tall Tower Its construction was completed in 1970. It has a total of 20 floors. The building has two towers: the tall tower and the short tower. It houses different clients, which include banks and foreign embassies. 5. Mapeera House Its construction was completed in 2012. It has a total of 19 floors. It houses the headquarters and main branch of Centenary Bank, the second-largest indigenous commercial bank in Uganda. 6. Uganda House Its construction was completed in 1980. It has a total of 16 floors. It houses the headquarters of the Uganda People's Congress (UPC), one of Uganda's political parties. 7. Cham Towers Its construction was completed in 1979. It has a total of 16 floors. It was initially owned by Uganda Commercial Bank (UCB). It was then sold to Standard Bank of South Africa and transformed into Stanbic Bank Uganda. A real estate investor, Karim Hirji, later bought it and renamed it Cham Towers. 8. Janani Luwum Church House Its construction was completed in 2018. It has a total of 15 floors. It is owned by the Church of Uganda. 9. Kampala Sheraton Hotel Its construction was completed in 1965. It has a total of 14 floors. When it was opened as the Apollo Hotel. In 1999, Middle Eastern investors won the rights to lease the hotel from the government of Uganda and manage it for the next 25 years. The investors won a franchise from Sheraton Hotels and Resorts to use the Sheraton name on the establishment. 10. Diamond Trust Building Its construction was completed in 1970. It has a total of 14 floors. It houses the headquarters of Diamond Trust Bank Uganda.
