Hello! How do you do. This is the first in a two part video series talking about Alternate landing gear extension when the normal system fails on the Boeing 747-8 ‘Superjet’. The Boeing 747 does not have large levers or hand cranks with lots of muscle needed to wind the gear down or pump it down etc like some other aircraft types which I will not mention. Alternate Gear operation is a set of switches that I have shown you before in the lead up to this video clip. In the second part of the series, I’ll show what happens to the rest of the landing gear that is operating normally. Have a watch and listen. Hope you like it😀. Chi Di Gin!
