HP Printer Won't Print? 2 Simple Ways To Fix Printer Issues

Hey, everyone, welcome back to MDC Technology Central. I know it’s been a long time since I’ve last uploaded a video (mostly because AP Chemistry is the stuff of nightmares), but I’m glad to be back. Today, I’ll be showing you how to fix issues you may be experiencing with your printer. One of the most common issues people experience with printers is that they go to any application, hit the “Print” button, and their printer seemingly doesn’t respond. Well, I’m here today to show you 3 ways that are guaranteed to fix any issues you may be having. Let’s get started. The most effective fix for printers not printing is to restart something call the Print Spooler. The Print Spooler in Windows is a service that runs in the background and sends documents to your printer. To restart the Print Spooler, on your keyboard, hit Windows key + R. This should open up a little window labeled Run. In the field, type “services.msc”. This will open another window labeled Services. Scroll down until you find “Print Spooler” in the list. Click “Print Spooler”, then go over to the left pane and click “Stop the service”. A window should open briefly displaying the progress, and it will automatically close. Once it’s closed, go ahead and hit “Start the service”. Again, a window should open, briefly displaying the progress, and it will automatically close. Now, close and re-open the program you wanted to print from, then try printing again. If it doesn’t work still, try the next method. Next, you can try deleting all files from your print spooler folder. To do this, open File Explorer. Go to your local drive, then to the Windows folder, then to System32, then to the folder “spool”, then go to the folder labeled “PRINTERS” in all caps. At some point, you may have to grant administrator privileges to access these folders. To do so, simply hit “Continue” when asked. Inside the “PRINTERS” folder, delete all files that are currently inside the folder to clear the print queue. This should then fix any issues you’re having with your printer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to my channel!    / @mdctechnologycentral   Make sure to like, and share my videos with your friends & family if they helped you.
