The "Space Cat" is a custom 2 in 1 pedal for Will C by noiseKICK FX out of Baltimore, Maryland. This is basically 2 pedals in 1. OVERDRIVE On the Right: A smooth 3 knob overdrive with Volume, Tone and Gain knob controls. DISTORTION On the left: A high gain distortion with Volume, Tone, Gain controls PLUS a voltage sag and feedback control. VOLTAGE SAG The voltage sag allows you to run the distortion circuit below 9volts. This emulated the sound of a dying battery. You will hear the distortion die off in a sputtery manner when the voltage sag is used. FEEDBACK The feedback control caused the pedal to self oscillate; running the output of the circuit back into the input. The toggle switch on the upper left turns the feedback completely off. The feedback knob controls the AMOUNT of feedback. MASTER CLEAN BLEND In between the two circuits is a MASTER CLEAN BLEND control. This takes your unaffected input signal (clean guitar) and blends it, in parallel, with the distortion and/or overdrive. Completely counter clockwise is 100% wet, clockwise is 100% dry. Putting the the knob in the middle you will hear your clean guitar signal layered with the dirt. This blend control is also great if using the "Space Cat" on bass guitar. It will preserve your low end and still allow the 'crunch' to come through.
