After our second peaceful night in Peel we decide to pamper ourselves and ease the pain from Carol’s injury with a night at Premier Inn in Douglas. Due to no food delivery at the hotel we eat out at a pizza and pasta restaurant. The next morning we start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before exploring Douglas town centre. Then it’s time to explore the south of the island so we head to Castletown and first of all park by the beach to relax with a cup of tea. On driving into the town we discover the castle is closed so we continue looking for somewhere to spend the night, leading to a hair-raising drive along a narrow track!
