Subaru Forester 2013(2014 US) Diesel MT Steep uphill and Diagonal Test

This video is made to show that manual transmission forester can do diagonal and climb thanks to the VDC. (The 2013 version anyway) In the first part of the video i run the forester up a steep dirt hill. Stopping in the middel just to make it harder. In the second part i put the forester in a diagonal situation. 2 wheels have little to no contact with the ground. It is also uphill to make it harder. Without the VDC here i would not be able to climb out of it. To get this to work, you have to turn VDC off (It still keeps the breaking control active on the 2013(2014 us) model and keep constant rpm (around 2000) seemed to work best. If you have to little power on the system it will not kick in and you just standing there looking silly. The Forester is running the stock Summer tyres yokohama.
