Our wardrobes are filled with clothes we can’t remember buying, and don’t know when they were last worn. Yet, we keep buying new ones for every occasion. There is something wrong with that. Chelsea brings up the impact of the mass production of clothes on the environment, and how thrifting can come in as a handy solution. Chelsea is an 11th-grade student who is passionate about protecting the environment. She loves finding innovative ways to help improve one’s way of living at a more sustainable level. In her spare time, she loves drawing and horseback riding. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
