Let's keep this party going! Tackling a transmission cover, welding in a dash bar, and fitting some seats are just the main points in this episode. I rendered the tailshaft housing useless when I converted the transaxle to 2wd, so I fabricated a custom cover out of 1/4" aluminum. Don't fret, I know it's not the prettiest thing and have plans for making it pop in the coming episodes. Just waiting on my SendCutSend order to come in. The dash bar put up a surprisingly small fight and may have been the smoothest part of the entire mid engine tube chassis build. I ended up trimming just an inch off the back of the center storage compartment area, which wasn't much a deal since i was going to drill holes in that to use as mounting point anyway since a couple were lost when i trimmed it to fit around the a-pillar bars. As a fun bonus, I also started tackling the seat mounting so that I can finally get the shift cables and pedal box measured and installed. It's been a long time coming, but we're finally getting there friends. Project Becky is going to be firing up under it's own power soon. Just a matter of fuel and spark and we're on our way.
