Our bucket list in Scandinavia is almost bottomless, but actually there is not even a need for one, because here it is beautiful everywhere. As you probably already understood, we really love Norway and Sweden (and Iceland too, by the way). But I admit that Finland was a different story. Until recently, I didn't know much about it and I had almost no places I really wanted to visit. With one exception. One place immediately popped into my mind when Ondra asked "what are we actually going to do in Finland?" Oulanka! Oulanka National Park with its legendary Karhunkierros, also called the Bear Trail. Oulanka lies exactly on the Arctic Circle, surrounded by the boreal forest, dangerously close to the Russian border. Karhunkierros is Finland's most famous long-distance route and I can't wait to go.
