This place was unlike ANYTHING I've ever seen before! From dense rainforest, to stunning beaches, a rich cultural history and also one of the safest places in Colombia, Tayrona National Park is definitely one of my top recommendations for places to visit in Colombia. Whether you choose to enter through the super touristy entrance called El Zaino or go more off the beaten track like I did through Calabazo, there is a lot to consider before making your trip, especially if you're planning on staying overnight. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA.
