Horizon Chase 2 (PC) - World Tour 100% - Part 1: USA

One of the games that was shadow-dropped in last week's Nintendo Direct was a sequel to a racing game that I had recently 100% completed on this channel, so let's dive right in! Welcome to Horizon Chase 2! I first saw it in the aforementioned Nintendo Direct, but it's also available on PC. However, since Aquiris has been bought by Epic Games, it's only available on the Epic Games Store and not on Steam like the first game. A few changes have been made from the first Horizon Chase in this one. First, you'll immediately notice that the graphics have been vastly improved from the first game. Second, a new type of race has been added: Time Trials, which work kind of like the Relic Races from Crash Team Racing where you collect time coins on the track to reduce your time while simultaneously racing as fast as possible, receiving different grades of rewards depending on how well you do. Third, instead of upgrading all of your cars at once, each individual car has its own level that you can increase by winning races with it, thus encouraging you to experiment. Fourth, there are now certain tracks that are a straight Point-A-to-Point-B race rather than three laps around, a concept introduced in Top Gear 3000. World Tour works more or less the same way as in the first game, where you collect all the coins scattered throughout the track and win 1st place to get Super Trophies.
