Hi Everyone, This is not my usual video, and I can honestly say it’s the hardest one I’ve ever made. On the 22nd of this month, I lost my beloved pet Asimo who was approaching 14 years old. He started to slow up over the last year. He passed peacefully (so chilled) in front of the fire, where I never left his sight for days. I got Asimo when he was 8 weeks old, a young Siberian Husky. He played an important role in my life, a true companion, a perfect family member. The memories I have with him, and the bond I had with him. He never left my side. He has starred in quite a few of my videos on my channel. He was always with me continuous hours whilst I worked at the front of the house, or at my garage door. I feel like my whole life has been completely shredded into pieces. My heart is broken, and I feel so empty. I'd give up everything I have or do to spend more time with him in the end. I had a garage video scheduled to be uploaded on the day he passed. I had only realised it was automatically uploaded near the end of the day. That has since been removed on that day out of respect for him. Sorry to those who were viewing it, I will upload this over the next week or two again. So, this video is a tribute for my beautiful friend, who always was there for me when times were tough, or when I needed comfort. I have added some memories, a few photos and interlinking videos out of the huge collection I have kept over the 13.5 years, from his 1st day until his final day. Putting together this video so early, hurts so deeply, but it also helps me see how much love and attention I showed him each day. I really treated him like my own wee child. He was a valued family member and my World! On my departure and arrival to my home here in Donagheady, I would never have left the area without saying goodbye to him or stepped a foot inside the door of my home without going out to his pad to say hi, giving him a hug, before bringing him right next to me on the couch, or into my company whatever I was doing (working or resting). Asimo was such a great dog and anyone who met him thought the same. He had a big heart, was super smart, and he wouldn’t have harmed a sole. I will forever miss him. As hard as it was, during Asimo’s last days, I took him and carried him around his favourite places, such as the nearby sandpit and here at home to give him that final extra special time I had always given him. As the final day came on the 22.08.24. Asimo was never in any pain on the months leading up and until his last minute as seen in the videos. The ending video shows his last day, but not his last moments. Over the months his back legs showed signs of muscle wastage and nerve degeneration and was only going to get worse. On that day, I made sure he knew how much I loved him, even though he already knew that, as he was fed up with me telling him that every single day for the past 13.5 years. RIP Asimo.
