But this is not so easy. It is really difficult to be the best at math in the class. And equally difficult to be the fastest runner. But as Dominic explained to all his boys… it is really easy to be the most polite. So simple. Hardly effort required at all. Say hello and goodbye. Please and thank you. Look people in the eye and if you know their name, use it. This will mark you out. And if you have confidence and you back yourself… even moderate exams grades will be no obstacle to your success. Author of five novels and one non-fiction book, he has written four series for BBC radio, made many TV appearances and has written for most national newspapers. He is married to Nikki.
