Pimples and scabies are actually not related. Scabies can never give rise to pimples, because pimple is a hormone triggered condition. Second thing is scabies commonly involves body parts other than face in adults and pimples is a teenage or adult problem. What happens is during the pubertal change, the skin starts secreting lot of hormones and these secretions, the sebaceous or the oil gland secretions. They don’t allow the scabies mites to proliferate on the skin. So usually in adults, the infection involves the other body parts except the face. In children it can involve the face, but those eruptions which look red are not actually pimples. So if you are developing a pimple- like eruption after scabies infection, we need to see what exactly it is. It will still be a pimple not related to scabies or it can be an eruption of scabies, wherein some individuals they over react and go for a hypersensitivity reaction. That’s called as a Id reaction. In those situations, you can develop pimple-like eruptions and that can be easily controlled by treating the primary infection, that is the scabies.
