On May 24, 2022, #GraphicEra hosted a felicitation ceremony in honour of #LakshyaSen, the 20-year-old shuttler from Almora, #Uttarakhand who not only brought glory to the state but also to the whole nation by playing a pivotal role in powering India’s historic victory in the Uber & Thomas Cup. After a rousing welcome with loud cheers and garlands of flowers, the star player inaugurated the university’s badminton court and played a badminton match with Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, Chairman, Graphic Era Group. This was followed by another event in which Graphic Era applauded the young shuttler’s remarkable performance during the tournament and presented him with a reward of 11 lac rupees as a token of respect. Notably, Lakshya’s father and coach DK Sen, mother Nirmala Dhirendra Sen and Uttaranchal State Badminton Association secretary BS Mankoti were also honored by Graphic Era.
