I've owned my Gibson Les Paul Custom since 2004 - the thing is, I've never really bonded with it. It's very close in sound to my Les Paul Standard, but the Standard is just so much more...me. I hate having such an incredible guitar hanging around not getting much use, so I decided to change it up a little to turn it into something I would get a lot more use out of. Enter the PAF Clones by Matt Gleeson of Monty's Guitars in London! In this video, you'll see the differences that swapping the stock Les Paul 498T/490R pickups for the Monty's PAFs have on this guitar. Spoiler alert: I absolutely love them! What do you think?
