Zeus presents Renegade (un-emulated) for the Amstrad CPC, a true classic from the golden era of Amstrad gaming which should not be forgotten alongside the software house and programmers that were involved in making this game. Year of release: 1987 Very nice looking version of the game, very nice loading screen and colourful graphics although a little blocky and play area is a little small and sadly has the same issue as the C64 version regarding the control,...one hand for the joystick and one hand to control 4 fire buttons on keyboard,...ruins the gameplay big time for me but I do like the added blood effect. The music is good making the game more enjoyable to play and the sound fx are good also,...much better than the C64 version but for me the 128k Spectrum version is untouchable especially with It's friendly controls. Also, a little while ago I uploaded a shortplay of this which contained Blue blood, now here we have the full game with the Red blood, thanks to a cheat disk version I was able to activate the correct blood colour. I have also used the infinite time and lives cheats so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure, I can get to the last level without cheats but thanks to a limited time with the machine (not mine) and frustrating controls I had no choice but to put the cheats on. I hope all you Amstrad fans enjoy this upload.
