Welcome to my guide to winning the Weekly Challenge Races for August Week 1 2024 on Gran Turismo 7. All THE RACES WERE COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY In this video I show you every race in this week’s Weekly Challenge for August Week 1 2024. I will show you my car setups, strategies and any notes I have for each race. Silvia Sisters: Tsukuba Circuit Car Choice: Nissan Silvia spec-R (S15) ‘02 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Fully Customisable ECU Racing Air Cleaner Racing Silencer Racing Exhaust Manifold Racing Brake System (Slotted Discs) Racing Brake Pads Racing Clutch & Flywheel Nitrous Sports Medium Tyres Items purchased in GT Auto: Custom Front Wing Custom Rear Wing Buying the custom body parts unlocks the downforce settings for the car setup. This is a very tricky race and to win comfortably you have to go over the suggested PP (Performance Points) limit. To save your sanity I suggest using this setup or even adding more power to car so you have an easier time beating the race. Make sure you’re using your Nitrous on the back straight. The nitrous is button is configured by default to R3 on your controller/wheel. You will have an advantage through the corners so make sure you can setup overtakes into heavy braking zones. The AI are very quick on the back straight so use your nitrous to keep up. Strategy: No strategy required. Japanese FR Challenge 450: Autopolis International Racing Course Car Choice: Subaru BRZ S ‘15 Car is completely stock with Sports Hard Tyres on. Strategy: No strategy required. Special Event: Goodwood Motor Circuit Car Choice: Porsche 356 A/1500 GS GT Carrera Speedster ‘56 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Weight Reduction: Stage 1 Racing Soft Tyres Strategy: No strategy required. NOTE: You can use the cheaper Porsche 356 A/1500 GS Carrera ‘56 with the same tuning parts. The race is a little bit more challenging but you can definitely save yourself some money. Neo-Classic Competition: Willow Springs International Raceway Big Willow Car Choice: Mazda 787B ‘91 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: High-RPM Turbocharger Ballast Power Restrictor Fully Customisable: Manual Transmission Nitrous My Brake Balance is set to -2 for this race, this is personal preference and not required. Strategy: Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, change the fuel to level 2 and keep it there the entire race. No pit stop required. Note: Try not to over rev the car or you might need to use fuel level 3 for the last lap to get to the end of the race. The tyres will be pretty much dead by the end of the race. Every AI car makes a pit in this race so if you’re in the lead with a few laps to go and you don’t want to risk it you should be able to pit for tyres only and still come out in first place. World Rally Challenge: Eiger Nordwand Reverse Car Choice: Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Racing Hard Tyres My Brake Balance is set to 2 for this race, this is personal preference and not required. Strategy: Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, change the fuel to level 6 and keep it there the entire race, you will not need to make a pit stop for this race. Fuel is very close to being not enough for the entire race so on the last lap if you need to save some fuel you can short shift or if you’re using automatic gears you should lift and coast into some corners.
