Piscopo is a professor of gender and politics and director of the Gender Institute at the Royal Holloway University of London, the co-editor of The European Journal of Politics and Gender, and author of the article "How Women Vote: Separating Myth From Reality" (Smithsonian Magazine, October 6, 2020).
