Building a CUSTOM TOURIST HARBOUR | Cities: Skylines 2

In this Cities: Skylines 2 Vanilla video I will be showing you how I built a custom tourist harbour. To start of I flattened all the ground and extended it out into the water a little, then I designed my harbour using roads and lowered the ground around the layout to let the water in. Next, I started replacing all the roads with quay walls by slightly lowering the ground next to the roads, then deleting the road and replacing it along the small cliff face leftover, then pushing back any terrain left over back up to the quay wall. If you need any help with creating quay walls then check out my video on how to build quays in Cities: Skylines 2, I'll post a link in the video. After that, I then placed some pedestrian bridges connecting to the parts of the dock/harbour that were not connected to land and also placed a statue in the centre of the harbour. Next, I started making docks for smaller boats using pedestrian paths just above sea level and using covered pedestrian bridges as the slopes that go down to sea level. Then I started to decorate the grass filled parts of the harbour using pedestrian roads, pedestrian paths, trees and bushes. Next, I placed down the the tourist harbour building and started to decorate in around it. Towards the end of the harbour I created an area for some zoning and Infront of the harbour building I created and decorated some nice green space and placed some parks and plazas. After that I built a small custom bus station and taxi rank to take the boat passengers in and around the city. If you liked the custom bus station in this video then be sure to go check out my video on how to build a custom bus station in Cities: Skylines 2, I'll post a link in the video. Next, I decided to place an extra bit of decorated quay around the statue with a bridge linking to it. Then I placed a few extra decorations, pedestrian paths and another dock for bigger boats using pedestrian paths at sea level and then started to place down some zoning. For the long dock/harbour front and the end of the harbour I went with European residential and commercial mixed zoning as this gave me some really nice shop fronts and some nice balcony's on the residential above, I felt this gave the buildings a hotel look to them. Finally, we take a look at the finished product in a few cinematic shots.
