Simon and Garfunkel first recorded what would become their signature song fifty years ago. Our cover highlights some of the gospel roots of the song in a terrific arrangement by Kirby Shaw. Released on May 31, 2020, we were thrilled to have members of the Revv52 band join us for the first time in a virtual video. While our original intention for “Bridge Over Troubled Water” was to deliver a message of hope during the pandemic, the outpouring of solidarity and humanity that rose from social movements across the United States last summer provided another perspective to the lyrics.
