This results in the steering mechanism pulling the Rudder instead of a push pull type mechanism. With the heavier stainless-steel (1.4mm is what I use) coated cable, we gain the push / pull on the Rudder system making the system smoother in its function. The tools used are: 1) Hex 3/32 Alan wrench 2) Medium flat head screwdriver 3) Medium Philips screwdriver 4) Needle nose pliers with cutting angle or (cable cutters) Cable Product used: 1.4mm 49 Strand Stainless Steel Black Vinyl Coated Cable Kit 30' with 10 crimps.
