ST HELENA arrives in LONDON on the morning of 26th June 2024. ST HELENA is used by the motor racing series Extreme E. It transports all their cars to the nearest port to each of their race locations. It was in London to launch Extreme H which will be the world’s first hydrogen off road racing championship. ST HELENA was built in Aberdeen and launched on 31st October 1989. Between 1990 and October 2018, ST HELENA mainly operated between Cape Town in South Africa and the British Overseas Territory of St Helena. During this time, it was operated on behalf of Royal Mail Group Limited and was known as Royal Mail Ship St Helena. She made her last trip from St Helena to Cape Town on 10th February 2018.
