Julie Su, the acting US Labor Secretary, says the overall jobs number is good and the labor market remains strong. US payrolls for July rose by 114,000 missing estimates of 175,000 and the unemployment rate rose to 4.3%. Su says she’s not worried about a recession risk given how low the unemployment rate has been for such a long time.
