Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi says the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has committed to calling a High-Level Tripartite meeting, between the South African government and Ambassadors to resolve the issue of foreign nationals in the country. Motsoaledi says he supports President Cyril Ramaphosa's condemnation of the activities of Operation Dudula, whose members target migrant employees and shop owners without valid papers. Ramaphosa said the group is a vigilante-like force, and its actions cannot be supported. Speaking exclusively to SABC News, Dr Motsoaledi said his department is tightening the screws to strengthen its operations.
