Ivana got to carry the mahar, an important dowry/mas kahwin. The set-up was beautiful, the pelamin kahwin was gorgeous, the food was delicious (Our favourite Malay wedding food is the daging salai masak cili api- a specialty from Negeri Sembilan food and the brinjal.) The akad nikah (solemnisation ceremony) of the Muslim tradition was touching, and the procession with the traditional music was fantastic! What a memorable experience.
