May 2011. Representing is Brad, Nick. M and Ira from the UBC Varsity Outdoor Club (VOC). The Columbia Icefields are near Jasper, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. The average elevation is at about 3000m and the summit of Mount Columbia, the highest in Alberta, is about 3747m. The tourists seen at the end are paying 50$ for a ride up to see the toe of the Athabaska Glacier. Well, after spending 6 days on the high ice fields for free, we decided we ought to at least give'em their money's worth! Enjoy!
