Carpathian Romainan Single Malt Whisky Review - Romanian Wine Cask Collection We are trying something that is completely new to us today, from an area we don't usually associate much with whisky! The Carpathian distillery in Romania are specialising in maturing their single malt whisky in Romanian wine casks. Today we are trying some of their first releases, on matured in a Romanian Pinot Noir cask and one in a Feteasca Neagra cask, but not before we tested out a more traditional Romanian Fig Spirit!
