La Fortuna, Costa Rica: We Went Ziplining, Horse Riding, Cacao Tasting, & to Mistico Hanging Bridges

Our Costa Rica Adventure started off with a visit to the secret restaurant Classified located in the Newark Airport. It is invite only, and we were lucky enough to snag one! Once in Costa Rica we start off the trip with a drive from San Jose to La Fortuna with a stop for lunch in a local "soda" restaurant. We stayed at El Silencio del Campo at the base of the famous Arenal #volcano (which is still active!) and we enjoyed the volcanic hot springs, working on the farm, and eating their delicious farm to table food. We also mixed in a chocolate/coffee tour at North Fields Farm as well as some horseback riding, zip-lining, and a trip to Mistico Hanging Bridges Park. Of course things don't always go exactly as planned, but we persevered through food poisoning, spider encounters, and managed to avoid the deadly brain eating amoebas!
